The paper was first published in 1982 and has grown to have one of the largest circulations in the US. It also publishes news on its popular website and has a weekend supplement called USA WEEKEND and a sports publication called USA TODAY Sports Weekly. The articles are written in a gossipy style and do not focus on serious political content, and the layout is colourful with lots of graphics. The news focus is designed to be entertaining, with general interest and domestic news and very broad sports coverage, especially of college football. The newspaper is available via subscription or from newsstands, vending machines, and hotels.

USATODAY: Key Differentiators
USATODAY has carved out a unique niche in the news area. It has “soft news” compared to the hard news of organizations like CNN. It will not have headlines about conflict in Afghanistan or Middle East politics but will headline trashier stories like politicians caught in compromising situations or movie star sex scandals. It also offers a broad array of news, compared to publications that focus on just sport or entertainment. It is a widely circulated print newspaper that is distributed in all fifty states, Puerto Rico, Canada and the United Kingdom. It targets hotel chains which provide the newspaper for travellers who want national news and weather, and would not be interested in local newspapers.

A subsidiary of Experian, FreeCreditScore.com is marketed heavily online as well as offline with both television and radio ads (it’s the successor to Experian’s FreeCreditReport.com ). When you sign up for their free 7-day trial, you get a free Experian credit score. After the trial ends, FreeCreditScore.com gives you 2 Experian scores per month. The service monitors only your Experian credit report. We recommend monitoring your credit report at all three bureaus as often lenders only report to a single bureau. Thus, we don’t highly recommend this service for most people.

FreeCreditScore.com constantly monitors your Experian credit report and you will receive an e-mail alert whenever there is a change or inquiry to your credit. Should you discover an identity theft problem, Experian has a nice added feature in that they assign a fraud resolution specialist to your account to help you fix the problem. They also provide more identity theft insurance than some other monitoring services ($50k), although in general we don’t think this type of insurance is really that valuable.

In addition to updating your Experian credit score twice per month, FreeCreditScore.com gives you access to their Score Center, which does a nice job tracking your credit score over time as well as educating you on why it changes and how you can improve it. Their score estimator is a useful tool that tells you how your score would change based on different actions you might take such as paying down a credit balance.

The largest downside to this service is that the credit monitoring and scores are for Experian only. Also, the free credit score uses the Experian scoring system, which is slightly different than the FICO score used by most lenders when making credit decisions, although the two scores are usually very close. Overall, we think most consumers would be better served by going with a service that monitors all three credit bureaus and provides credit scores based on data from all three bureaus as well.

Credit score is very important. Not a lot of people value and take care of their credit score. This is actually a big mistake. Your score is the basis of your reliability. In short, if your rating is bad, then you won’t be able to borrow money from lender; the lower your rating, the less you can borrow. And if you go below a certain score threshold, you cannot take out any amount of money. Having the capability to borrow is very important. You never know when you’ll need emergency money. For this reason, you have to take care of it. Unfortunately, many people today already have bad credit. But there is good news for them. Credit scores can still be repaired.

There are many ways to repair your score. Having bad credit now doesn’t mean you’ll have one permanently. You can still pull it back up. One way of pulling it is by being more savvy. Being savvy means you manage your credit well. You do not do late payments and you do not exceed your credit limit. Basically, being savvy means sticking to the terms of your credit agreement. Why is this important? It’s important because it drops occur whenever you neglect to follow the terms of your credit agreement. When you deviate from the rules, not only are you charged extra for it; points also get deducted from your score. If you want to improve your rating, you have to be responsible with your outstanding credits.

You may also take legal action when it comes to raising your credit. Legal credit repair is a method of fixing your credit where you pay experts to analyze and work on your current rating. They will generate your credit report, which is, fortunately, possible thanks to the Fair Credit Reporting Act of FCRA. You, of course, would have to pay for the service. Having a good credit score is important. You should do your best to take care of it; its for your future’s sake.

A credit score is a number based on data accumulated from banks, credit card companies, and any company that has loaned the consumer money.

The credit score is a deciding factor in the consumer being able to borrow more money and the interest rate on that borrowed money. An excellent credit score is considered to be over 720. It is important to know the information on one’s credit report as there are sometimes inaccuracies that need to be corrected.

Further information >> CreditReport.com – Reliable Credit Reporting Service

The website creditreport.com provides consumers with comprehensive reports detailing all the items on one’s credit report. This service provides daily updates on your scores and even provides a ScoreTracker, a graph which visually shows the changes occurring on your report.

Also, they keep consumers protected by “state of the art credit monitoring tools.” However, it never mentions exactly what those monitoring tools are. This website does offer unlimited access to your credit score, email alerts when there is a significant change in credit, and a detailed analysis of what is affecting your scoring.

By enrolling in this service, one is granted a free 7 day trial of three different credit monitoring services, Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion. After the 7 day free trial is over, the consumer will be billed $14.95 per month until the account is canceled. This information is fairly clear on the website. CreditReport also does make clear why a consumer should use their services over any of the other credit report services in the market.

This is a good service for anyone who has had credit trouble and is trying to get their finance back in line, or for someone who has a lot of changes in their credit and needs to keep a close watch on it.

eFax Features

Like most online fax services eFax allows you to send faxes via your email address. They support some free accounts and can easily be used with major email clients like Outlook. Efax also offers two other formats to send faxes using their service. You can send a fax directly from their website, and also using their software efax messenger which you download and install on your computer after signing up.

Click Here To Get Your Free eFax Trial
Personally, I’m a fan of just using the email option because it keeps things simple and organized. There are detailed instructions in their FAQ on their website about how to send using email, their website, and efax messenger.

Other features to note: eFax supports a variety of document types, and you can attach multiple documents to one email and send it to multiple recipients. Receiving faxes can be done on up to 5 different email addresses as well as your PDA or cell phone.

How easy is eFax to use?
Sending a fax via eFax is just as easy as any other online fax provider such as MyFax. As mentioned above there are 3 ways to send a fax, I think the simplest is to stick to sending them from your email account, but the other methods are there if needed. Might be a good alternative if you have multiple people using that fax number.

Customer Service
I chatted with their online sales and support staff via their online chat program. They were very quick to answer. It took less then one minute, and they did answer my questions promptly. How would they fare during a serious issue or trouble shooting scenario? I hope they’d be as responsive to me when I was asking pre-sales questions, but they also offer an extensive FAQ on their website as well as telephone and email support.

The down sides to eFax
I can’t say that eFax is my number one choice for an Internet fax provider because of two things.

1.)Their price is a bit steep, at $18 a month it’s about $5-$8 higher then the competition. How ever they do offer a Free Trial to test them out for the first month.

2.)They don’t appear to offer outgoing fax pages in the monthly fee. According to their website it costs about $0.13 on the average to send to most US cities per page. Also their toll-free numbers are an additional $0.28 per page received.

I’m not suggesting the quality of the eFax service isn’t top notch, they just seem to charge for more things while some of their competitors include some outgoing faxes each month and toll-free numbers in the fee.
